PhPhoenix Petroleum, along with Tuason Racing will, once again, set the race tracks ablaze, as it brings back the Phoenix PULSE Young Drivers’ Program to an actual racing arena this year.

In 2019, the brand launched the sponsorship initiative to elevate Philippine motorsports, and to give aspiring racers the opportunity to be the next racing superstar. Out of almost 300 hopefuls, Phoenix and Tuason Racing were able to discover young, promising race drivers like Raffy Rabe who bested other contenders, and became part of the Phoenix PULSE racing team.
The motorsport rising star was given an opportunity to represent Phoenix at the 2019 GITI-Formula V1 Challenge where he showed off his racing skills at the 4-hour Endurance Formula V1 Race of the Tuason Racing Race Day.
“Phoenix Petroleum, along with our trusted partner, Tuason Racing, is glad to bring back this wonderful opportunity for racing hopefuls who possess a good balance of excellent racing skills and great attitude who can represent the brand, and inspire other young drivers to reach for their dreams,” said Phoenix Petroleum Vice President for Integrated Marketing and Strategies Celina Matias.
Last year, the Young Driver’s Program had to be taken online due to strict quarantine restrictions and safety concerns. This 2021, however, the program is back on track as it turns the racing dream of one aspiring race car driver into reality.
The program is open to anyone who is 15-26 years old with at least one year of racing experience, can drive a manual transmission car, with a valid driver’s license, and of Filipino descent.
